Description

The 2019 Medium Dry Red has a deep, brooding nose- almost Christmas cake in aroma. The palate is long and balanced- red berry mingling with dark chocolate, medium tannins with a dry spice finish. The perfect autumnal wine, vibrant, rich yet lean.

Tasting Notes

Sourced from the Mokhinui Vineyard in the Hilltops and the Winbirra vineyard in Gundagai, the MGS blend is looking at the traditional Chateau Neuf de Pape / Bandol style. Made for the warmer weather, the aromatics are perfumed with floral and spicy notes. The palate is light to medium- rich red berry flavours coupled with hints of dry spice including cumin and star anise.
